about

I was delighted when my dear friend, Kathryn Bevis (a fabulously acclaimed and prize-winning poet, her debut pamphlet Flamingo is published by Seren and her collection The Butterfly House is due in March 2024) agreed to lend her beautiful voice to this music. The Goose and the Common is a 17th century English poem protesting at the sequestering of public resources, something all too relevant to the Britain of today...I've set the poem to music and here release three different arrangements of it. I hope you like it!
